How to play the alphabet typing game

Choose a mode and select Start run. The next letter is highlighted in the game area and on the on-screen keyboard. Type that letter with your physical keyboard, or tap its matching key on screen, then continue until all 26 letters are complete.

• A to Z: enter the alphabet in the standard order for the classic Type the Alphabet test.
• Z to A: work backwards to practice recall beyond the usual alphabet sequence.
• Shuffle: type a mixed sequence to test letter recognition and reaction speed.
• Wrong keys add to your error count, but the run continues so you can finish and review the result.

Typing speed test results and online ranking

The timer starts with your first letter input and stops after the final letter. The result panel shows completion time, an estimated words-per-minute score, and accuracy based on the 26 correct letters and any mistyped keys. A fast run with fewer errors gives you a stronger personal best.

When you finish, enter a player name and submit the score to the online leaderboard. The board is separated by A-Z, Z-A and Shuffle modes, so you can compare like-for-like results.
